You get 8 UNC 6-32 screws of lengths 32mm and 5 mm each as well as 8 washers enabling one to use the provided 2 fans in push or pull, in intake or exhaust. In the other pouch are all the mounting gear needed to screw in the fans to the radiator as well as the pump/block unit to the CPU. The backplate is a nice piece of metal as opposed to the Asetek plastic one, and looks just like the one Swiftech uses with their newer AIOs as well! You also get the Corsair Link cable that uses a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard (there are accessories such as the NZXT IU01 to help out if you do not have one to spare) and then hooks up to the cooler using a mini USB connector. Fret now, that because the cooler is so massive it is on top of the accessories: So now let’s take a look at the included accessories: You get the Intel and AMD brackets as well as the backplate for Intel sockets 115x and 1366. On the inside, everything seems to be covered by a plastic sheet. Oh, and speaking of that soft foam: That’s one thick piece of foam! Keep it up, Corsair.

The manual also contains the warranty policy pamphlet inside. I like this for 2 reasons- (1) you are directly expected to take a look at the manual- which I do recommend people to go through if you are not familiar with the product, and (2) the soft foam provides protection to the contents inside. When you open the box, you are greeted to the H110i GT manual first and a soft foam sheet underneath. Let’s remove the shrink wrap now: Corsair has made use of every single surface available here with technical specs, marketing terminology and the radiator dimensions all listed out- some in multiple languages as well. The outside does not do much to protect against scrapes and bumps necessarily but it will immediately show signs of any shipping damage. The box (14″ x 7.5″ x 6.5″) comes with a plastic shrink wrap which immediately recognizes the cooler inside.
There is a dearth of proper performance oriented 140mm consumer fans out there so bring it on! Let’s now begin taking a look at the package now. Lastly, and possibly one of the more exciting things here, we see that the included fans are high torque 2100 RPM (+/- 10%) 140mm sized fans. We also see the cooler compatibility with just about any socket a consumer can make use of with this product.
The coolant used inside reflects this and I want to say prevents galvanic corrosion for the entire duration of the warranty period, but without having taken one apart myself I can’t be sure. We also see the usual copper cold plate, aluminum radiator construction here as with other contemporary CLCs (closed loop coolers). But the question on everyone’s mind is- is it worth it? As always, here are the specs courtesy the product page: As with the H75, the first thing that I see is the 5 year warranty for the cooler which is good to see. There are some other changes, albeit on the cosmetic end mostly. This is an evolution of their earlier Asetek-based H110, which now is Cool It-based, has Corsair Link integrated into it and has updated SP140L fans with it. Introduction Corsair have been massively supportive of this venture of mine- call it a hobby, or an organized test database- and so I am happy to be able to now review their latest (and possibly greatest to date) CPU cooler- the 2x140mm H110i GT.
